ČSZV member companies support an amendment to the Packaging Law, which will introduce a functional deposit return scheme, and measures to achieve sufficient take-back of all packaging.
Infant Food
Member companies of the ČSZV Group of Producers, Importers and Distributors of Infant and Baby Food have signed the updated self-regulatory rules "Code of rules and procedures for interaction among the infant formula industry, healthcare professionals and other entities". The Code adopts the Special Nutrition Europe rules issued in July 2023, whose signatories are allowed to support the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) events. The rules are also recognised by the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) and listed on the ESPGHAN web sites as an important document. 30 years of the ČSZV
At the end of September, the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the ČSZV founding took place in the premises of the Rosmarina boat. A number of CEOs and other representatives of member companies attended. Among the guests there were also representatives of the partner association from Slovakia (SZZV).
A brand needs to be built and protected
Reflection by Mr. Jiří Mikeš, former director of the Association of Communication Agencies and visiting professor at the University of Economics, on the importance of brand building and the possible harmfulness of comparative advertising.
Coffee
The producers of coffee products within the ČSZV established a platform which aims to support and protect the interests of the coffee industry and educate consumers and stakeholders. Current members invite other companies to join.
Cosmetics
Members of the ČSZV Section for Cosmetics have supported the cosmetics industry agreement to address plastics pollution.
Czechs and advertising 2022
This is the 39th year of the research. Recently, it has also focused on the influence of the social situation related to the pandemic on the advertising perception.
Plant-Based
In reaction to "From Farm to Fork" ČSZV has supported the Joint Position Paper of EAPF and Bridge2Food on transition towards healthier, nutricious and more sustainable foodstuffs and consumption patterns.
ČSZV as a member of A.I.S.E. joins the ECHA's communication campaign on UFI - 16-digit code enabling exact identification of hazardous ingredients of chemical products to quicken medical care. A.I.S.E. press release.

Personnel changes in the ČSZV
On 1st September 2021 Lukáš Horák was appointed as the Executive Director. The previous director Jan Levora cooperates with the association part-time. Michaela Hlavicová took on the position of manager.
On August 5, 2021, Ani Beriashvili, CEO of Jan Becher – Karlovarská Becherovka, a.s., became a member of the Board of Directors of ČSZV.
